today we got the heater and is in process of heating tank..we just put live rock in tank and the tank is at 68degrees....every hr it gets warmer and we have it set to 78degrees...the current temp would not hurt the rocks correct??

LOL, thats too funny. My dog starts out on the floor but somewhere in the middle of the night he ends up with us right in the middle. And he can't lay like us, he has to be laying horizontally. I want a female brindle SO bad! They are so gorgeous.
I hope someone answers for you soon. Lol. I am only on day 11 of my cycle right now and it took my tank probably 6-8 hours to reach the right temp. My rock looks ok, I would wait till the experts get on here and answer your question :)
