simple ? is it a good idea to rest lr on the back of the tank??i have a 90 dt and will be placing about 170lbs of lr . thanx in advance

Not usually a good idea to let lr touch your glass. I have one spot were it touched my glass and coraline alage spread to my glass pretty fast in that one spot. Also if to much wieght is bearing down on that particular rock it could spell disaster in the form of broken glass.

a few rocks there and there leaning against the glass is no big deal. but try not to put too much pressure or weight on the glass. just stack them up.

thank you . my main reason for asking was also for water flow where if i had a lot of rock against the back i probably wouldn't have much if any
