Setting up a tank

I am just wondering what I would need to setup a 55 gallon salt tank. I also have a 30 gallon that i am thinking about using for my sump so what would i need for that as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

filter, protein skimmer, live rock,sand i don't have a sump so no help there also you'll need money

protein skimmer, live rock, live sand, a decent light, powerheads, heater, thermometer, test kits, salt, ro or rodi water, overflow box, return pump, braided tubing, pvc, glass baffles, return u-tube and a lot of patience

It would depend on what kind of tank you are going to set up, a reef system or fish only.

for light it will all depend on what your going to have in your tank.

save yourself the money and time and get live sand.
