Setting up new tank from old

I'm buying an used setup tank that has been established for a few years. I'm getting the full setup but just want to use the livestock including the sand. I have decided to to setup a tall 130g bow front instead of using the 125g long( dont have the room).
It has a quite of few corals on the rock and a few fish, no anemones yet. The transport is five hours away and I will be using aroubd 70g of the established water. The sand will be taken out of the tank anyways for transport reasons, so I will just put it in my new tank. My question is what kind of worries should I have using the sand? Will I get a spike in the new tank and have a major cycle? When can I put the liverock in with its corals.
I'm not even sure if I could put the fish in after setting it up. By the way, the salt will be mixed with RO/DI water.

You might get a small spike of ammonia from stirring up the sand bed. Which could result in a small cycle.
Try your best not to disturb the sand if you can help it. Otherwise you should be able to put everything back in the tank with no problems! :happyfish
Good luck with the move!
