how are you able to tell the --- of clowns ? I have 4 percula clowns. Also have 2 (? condi-?Florida)anemoneies that they will have nothing to do with-not their type?!

Clowns will not host Condi's. The --- of clowns are determined by domenance. The larger more aggressive will be the female. She will pick a mate and then they will KILL the other 2.

wow, that sounds terrible. Mine are all still pretty small-1 1/2 inches. Have had them together for 6months and so far all ok. Does this happen when they get older?

they will get territorial but i havent heard of them killing each other....but yes the larger of the group will change to female and the other will remain male until they are either taken away from the female or she dies then the next largest will change to the female there have been people on this site that have had 4 percs together or 2 different species of clowns together.....what size is your tank??

the most dominant one will grow biggest and become female the 2nd biggest will be the ale that she mates with the other 2 wil also be male but will not become sexually mature

Condis will host clowns its just not as likely since the clowns come from different areas as the Condi does.
