i have heard that they cannot...but they can probably carry it; like if they water they are in has ich in it, they can carry it to your tank. but no, i don't think they can actully get the spots...

snowflake or any other eel are not immune to ich
they are hardy and have a heavier mucus coating that protects them, but they can certainly get ich
dont ever use copper treatments with an eel however
