sfe found a new friend?

So I just got an sfe last week. He's about 6" right now and he's been hanging out in my 10 QT. Anyway, I think he got a little bored....

This one's not quite as weird

I thought it was hilarious, what do you think? Is he lonely, bored, a little "off". :thinking:

Yeah, I've heard of that happening but I've got everything pretty well sealed off in the QT. I'm more worried about the DT, there's going to be a lot more to seal off and I take everything off a lot more often. Plus I need to somehow seal off the bottom of the filter tube so he doesn't try to swim up it, that wouldn't be good...

It looks cute, as long as hes safe. Make sure you have lots of rock for him to explore, and you should not have a problem. I have had my sfe in my tank uncovered for over 3 years now, never a problem.

There's a lot of rock work in the dt. He'll be moving there in about a week I think.

thats what my snowflake eel did in the qt. he never got off until i moved him in my tank. fun to watch and feed.
