just got a snowflake eel about 3 weeks ago he/she is eating real good on frozen krill and has had no problems up until now. he/she is in a 75 gal with all sorts of places for it to hide and is about 8in long.my parameters are all good my amonia is at 0 and so is my trites/trates my temp is 77 degrees. two days ago i fed him a big piece of krill and he gobbled it right up and he swam around for awhile and went back to his cave. then yesterday i noticed him just laying there as i was feeding the other fish and usually he will smell the food and start looking for it. but all he did was lay there and then 2 day he is doin the same thing he will move to a different rock occasionally but will just sit their. i even saw him layin upside down. i was wondering if this was cuz he ate a big meal and was digesting it like snakes do. is this normal if not wat should i do?? i cant set up a qt.
thank you for your help

Yeah, I'd say so. Both of my eels have gone on "hunger strikes". I have also found too that sometimes if you feed the eel the same type of food over and over, it won't accept anything else unless they are really hungry, thus starting the hunger strike... Hope this helps!
