shark ICK

if a shark in a small environment with bad conditions could possibly get sick, i wouldnt think it would be ick but what size is the tank? whats your filtration more imoptantly? feeding habits etc? also what kind of shark?

he is my pride and joy a banded cat shark i feed him a mixture of krill clam and shrimp and also this shark formula stuff every other day he seems to love it. all nitrites and ammonia are at 0 ppm my nitrate is at 30 ppm. im not sure if he can get ich because he doesn't have scales but i could be wrong. he doesn't appear to have it but my pair of pink skunk clowns do i bought a cleaner wrasse and it seems to be eating it off them and nips at rocks im not sure if he is eating the ich eggs or what any info is greatly appriciated thank you

In extremely bad situations... sharks can get what looks a lot like ick. However, it's usually a parasite infection that is directly caused by the shark being kept in a poor environment... usually to small of a tank.
What is strange here is that it is on a bamboo shark. Of the sharks out there, they usually put up with almost anything.
Just do all of us a favor and don't treat the tank with copper.
