Shark in Reef

I was wondering if you could put a shark in 250 gallon tank that is going to be a reef setup? I have heard that a shark would be a problem in a reef tank because it would eat all your small invert i.e. snails, crabs and such.. Is there a way to have a shark in a reef tank or would I be better off saving and getting a seperate tank for a shark only setup? Thank you Rich

Che I dont understand your answer, No chance at all.. No chance the shark can't go in the reef..but then you said a bamboo would survive in that tank.. Sorry I may just be missing something hear but I don't get it. PLus I've had salt water tanks before just about 7 yrs. ago, I couldnt beleive the technology change from then to now. Thanks again Rich
