shark is scraping himself...

he just hatched acouple weeks ago and i noticed the other day it was scraping the top of himself on the botom of the tank. water quality is perfect and my other fish has lived by himself in this tank for years and never scrapes. how can i get rid of this problem. will garlic in his food help? i add Kyolic gralic powder to the fish food. is this stuff any good? i read it was acouple years ago. just not sure what anyone else uses.

Are there any new fish in the tank? If nothing else has been added and rock scraping is the only symptom, this may just be a young fish learning to swim/scratch himself. You are best to just watch the fish for other symptoms.

yes there is another fish in with him. the other fish has lived in the tank for years and never had any health problem. had this fish since 94. maybe he was just itchy?
