yeah those kinds of animals in LFS make me sad. that animal does not belong in a fish tank. I hate seeing sharks in tanks. It's rare that a aquarist can actually house a animal like that in a privot collection.

Yep stores sell them as "Upside-down Sharks"
Bad news for most hobbiests. Pathetic little buggers when stuck in home aqauria IMO

yep, that's a remora ... they usually latch onto sharks and feed on the parasites or left overs. They both benefit from this.

That does not belong in a tank of any kind. Im sure its eating fine, but thats just rediculous. Im sure its getting no where what it requires, and it gets much to big and aggressive to be in a tank of almost any size. This makes me mad.
And judging by that tank, looks it it could use a lot more circulation and filtration

He's in a rather small tank atm, the owner has a blacktip, nurse shark, fox fish and this angel (picture) in a cement box covered in pool liner with only Maybe 2 feet of water not sure if thats all thats required for all em.. but this remora isnt in a tank with anything else, havent the slightest how he's eating in that case since he eats parasites what not.. His tank tbo looked smaller than a 40g breeder, but all his saltwater tanks are outdoors (the stores actually a nursery) and each row is conected to a huge filter loop system under the stacks of tanks, with minimal flow. But who am i to take out my anger with people who house they're animals like that right.......
Anyways ty for the input and answer ^^

Thats Roozens nursery!

I worked there 12 years ago. Its a fish store and a nursery. Those tanks are 50gal. I helped build those vats for the sharks and the live rock. Why did you not take pics of the bigger vats in the glass house. Thats where all of the fish that get out grown go to retire LOL. They take great care of those fish and they are good people.

Surely you dont mean the 2 as you walk in the door, they arent much bigger than the 3 in the back(picture taken off his site). they're wider but still dont have a ton of water in em like you think should be,this tank in pic is one of the 2 live rock tanks.. the 1st front one has a large grouper and huge orange eel in it with live rock sitting on the top back in crates being used as a filter with around 2 foot of water, and next to that tank is the frag tank with clams of all varietys in it. After the frag tank tons of large tanks in boxes, followed by the larger vat (prob the one your talking bout) with 2 batfish some angels and foxfish in it with yet again limited water, the bats had maybe a few inches of water before they're large fins were exposed at the deepest spot. The tanks for his freshwater koi's and goldfish were filled to the rim so why not fill the saltwater? Neways other than the vats its an over all good store to get rare aquatic species that smaller stores cant carry. Just make sure if you visit take a print out of prices for the things you want to purchase because his prices change day to day.
