I have had my shark for bout a year now,banded catshark. i have had these sharks in the past and hatched them and they always ate like crazy and did well. this one ate like crazy for the first couple of months and then would act like he wasn't interested so changed up his food more often. worked for alittle bit. then he was back to the samething and thing is he acts like he has a hard time swallowing the food. like he will chew on it and keep spitting it out. shrimp,fish,squid,clam no matter what i give him. i was told i needed to add iodine to the water and that helped for bout two months now he is back to doing the same ----... his fins and body are in great shape.. bout to just give up and sell him to someone and maybe they can figure it out. water is in perfect shape as always in my tanks.
