Shark with red blotch....

I just got a coral cat shark and on it's belly (before i got it) it has a red blotch. I am now feeding him squid. And hjes eating his first night. Risc, or other people, what is this and how do i treat it? I know this is in the wrong forum, but risc moderates this forum so i will get a quicker response. Thanks!

Top, my first impression was that it was kept on cc, and therefore scratched his belly. I know you posted it here for a reason, but I'm going to go ahead and move it to d/t because Beth and Terry hang out there. I'll tell risc about it too. Bo

thanks, well the shark was not on cc, it was on a bare bottom. But I knoticed, when he netted it, an urchin went on it's belly. Can this be the cause?
