SOme people have good luck at first getting them to feed in a small tank say a 55 . But you need to imedatly plan an upgrade . They grow fast and need a big tank . Believe me you dont want to try and keep transfering them . not only is it a pain but its also unnesecary stress on the shark. Honest opinoin is don't get it unless you have a tank in the ranger of 300+ gallons .

again a baby ray will need a tank of at least 125 gallons and no rock work to take up space . and in the long run it will need a tank in the 300 gallon and up range

do you want just one fish or multiple fish in your tank ? I assume you mean for an 80 gallon right ?
You could do multiple damsels in a tank and they tend to be very aggressive . Or you could do a single undulated trigger . Or you could do a harliquen tusk fish and some other smaller fish such as small angels of some sort .
