I'm just wondering if other shark owners have kept inverts. My shark and ray live with a cc star, sand-sifting star and a conch. So far they seem to be ok together. Has anyone tried keeping sharks/rays and inverts together??

With all the messages and opinions here, no one has any thoughts on keeping sharks or rays with inverts. Come on people, throw me a frickin bone here.

well I just purchased a small cat shark(bamboo) today .he is just a baby right now about 4 inches if that.but from what my LFS told be about him they will eat inverts such as snails crabs and shrimp or anything that lives on the substrate.my ray is aso small right now he hasnt bothered with the snails yet.as he gets larger i am anticipating that to change.

Obviously the size of the invert and shark or ray really decides what will live together. For me, nobody really bothers the starfish even though my cc star is still pretty small.

I would think there would be relatively more risk with crustaceans rather than the seastars. That's my guess at least
