Something about 10,000 posts...
Unless you mean mod. I think I am seeing a pattern with who they choose to be a mod. Seems to me that they are choosing individuals that have contributed information that can be found nowhere else. They all have their "area of expertise", you...maybe got nothing. No, I'm kidding. But do something extraordinary that not to many do or learn something more thoroughly than any other and I THINK that will increase your chances of swimming with the sharks.

Bronco's next in line with his (I hope "his") seahorse specialty.

Bronco, I thought you already WERE a mod...not sure why I thought that though.

I have always found "muds" experience worthy. He has helped me out numerous times. I too believe it's the hat. Ha!

Heh thanks guys. I was studying general chemistry and immunology/serology last night for about 8 hours straight and it made my brain a little fried. Hence this post.

mudplayer, you are a valued member of our community, have no doubt about that. Your contributions are appreciated, and don't doubt that you could find yourself in the Shark Tank cutting water with your dorsal fin with the rest of the sharks and circling around the forum looking for trolls, spammers, banned members, etc.
But you'll have to overcome your fear of sharks.

I'm fairly sure Mud's "curing live rock 101" was the post that got me started in this hobby.
Keep posting the good stuff man, and we'll keep deleting spam, ---- and the adds.

Not to hyjack muds thread;
If a member is banned; some bad apples try to/do come back. It may take us a bit but we generally see in a short while that someone is back. The truly bad ones reveal themselves real quick. The others we suspect takes alittle research.

And this is 90% of the job. THe other 9% is dealing with kids, problem posters, cursing and the like, leaving a tiny fraction to actually contribute.
If this is what you seek.....
WHY?

yep I find about the first 20 minutes or so I am online going through posts that have ** when it worked** been reported and looking through other posts that could get bad and then gong back through other posts to see where I might be able to help out with.
