Shop Lights???

Could you use shop lights as ligts for soft coral??? I'm just wondering. How many watts are in each bulb? And what's the degree in kelvin?

a normal 48 inch shop light has two 32 watt 3000k to 4100k bulbs. so no its a no go for soft corals. it's not even a good light for fish only tanks due to the low k rating. youll get a lot of algae.
