Short term RO Unit?

My RO Unit came yesterday but it is not working. I have not yet filled my tank. Can I use something like a brita water filter for the time being to at least get it up and going so I can start the cycling process and add the live rock

rRo is best. the lfs will have some i woud use that not brita just to be safe

You can go buy RO water from WallMart or the grocery store....

i went to a department store call meijers.. mostly a michigan store i think... alot of grocery stores have fill your own container ro/di units.. its well worth a few trips there and back..
and isnt too expensive

My LFS used to sell it for .50 a gallon. That would only be $30 of water.

meijers has it for $0.29 per gallon if u bring your own containers..... its always cheaper that way..
was that premixed and ready to go water with the salt already in jasonlwrig??
