Nope, tank lighting and a 4.0-5.6 lens (I think, though it's possible I was using my 70-200 2.8).
Thank God for the high-ISO performance of the 7D, combined with a bit of reduction from Neat Image.
Edit: That answer applies to the shots shown in this thread, if you were asking about the other shots in the photo gallery, yes. A few were shot with on camera flash but most of them I used a strobe for.

Well you take very good pictures! whenever I try to take pictures of my fish, they come out as blurs lol

Well, thank you very much. I do have high end equipment (though not top of the line) and a lot of experience. One of the advantages of the high-end DSLR's is their ability to capture usable images at ISO's that point-n-shoot cameras just can't touch. I get less noise at 3200 on my 7D than I do at 800 on the little PNS I sometimes use.
I'm not technically a professional, in that I don't make my living from photography, but if an opportunity presented itself I would be sorely tempted.
Plus I take a LOT of shots for every keeper. Easier to do with digital because a throw away cost doesn't cost anything!

Great pics. I see a fish in there that I've been looking for that I can find. That little lion is a Mombassae. Dang it! I want it!

It was Big Al's in South Florida, and it was taken January 24th so I'd say there's a good chance he's sold, otoh it was a HUGE place so who knows. I live in NYC so it was a NON-LFS lol, but you could give 'em a call.
Tell them I want a commission if you buy it!
