should i add another fish?

I am treating my 75g for a small case of white spot with GreenX medication .Do u think i should wait until i am done treating the tank to add another or can i just add him while the tank is being medicated without any problems?The reason i want to add right away is because i dont want to miss out on the juv clown triggers at such a cheap price!

If I were you I would wait because you risk killing the fish. A fish trying to acclimate in a medding tank just does not sound like a good diea to me. Not to mention the fact that it's a juvi anyway. You can always ask your LFS to order you another. Or you can pay for him and ask your LFS to hold him until you get your tank medded.

I think you are taking a big chance, you sould not take. The young fish will already be stressed out by the move. I would never add a fish to my tank while I am treating it. You can ask your lfs to hold it for you, I know mine would do it. Good Luck

It has been said that you should wait at least a month after medicating a tank to add another fish, to make sure the tank is healthy again, why would you want to get the little guy sick by adding him to your tank?

saw your other post in the aggressive posts, everyone said not to add the clown trigger until you were done medicating you tank, but you did anyway. Why did you even ask the question if you weren't going to take the advice of anyone? If you just going to do it anyway, then why bother asking? People here are no dummies, they usually give good advice, and if more than 3 people say the same thing, usually it's good sound advice.

Well if you check the time and date of the posts it states that the first post showing concern for my clown trigger was on may 17 than by may 21 i had posted that the little guy had died, and than again on may 21 i posted that i had started treating my tank for white spot on the 21st and was wondering whether i can add a clown trigger while medicating the tank so i think it is kind of obvious i just wanted to replace the dead one but didnt because i was advised not to!So next time you flip on somebody make sure u have your info straight man!Well now we know that there is atleast one dummy on this board!

Just because the post was 4 days apart, it is obvious that your tank had something wrong to begin with, and if one clown trigger died, why would you want to add another one right away? Makes no sense. Just trying to figure out why you would want to add a fish so soon, just to save some money? If you are looking to save money you are in the wrong hobby. We only give advice to help people out, so that fish don't die for no reason.
