Ok, Right now I have 2 true perc.clowns, coral & cleaner shrimps, em.crab, sea urchin, bahama star fish, dozen or so snails. Should I be adding anything like iodine, calicum. I have No corals.

depends on your levels of each. Rule of thumb is that if you do not test for it, do not add it.

regular water changes will take care of the iodine as synthetic salts are already high in it. don't add anything unless ur gonna test for it. having to add calcium is a possibility for the urchin.

I've heard about the don't test don't add rule, I just wanted to make sure that nothing would be suffering because of my lack of knowledge.

If you only have a FOWLR, then the only tests you really need are ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. If you are thinking about upgrading to reef then you will need to test for more, such as calcium.

Yeah, it's not neccessary to supplement anything. If you are using one of the better salts, like Oceanic, which is rich in trace elements, you are perfectly fine.

That's the salt I add, I'm thinling about going reef, Only thing is the cost of the corals, I think the star fish isn'treef safe so he'llhave to go,Before I buy anycorals I want to add more rock,I figure maybe by summer

If you are willing to test for it try dripping some kalk.. it will help w/ Coraline growth at the very least. I have FOWLR and have had very good luck with it.
cheers!
