Should I be feeding these?

I have two hitch-hikers that came in on my LR for my 3/4g nano reef. There are REALLY small feather dusters, similar to the "duster cluster" found on this site (under inverts).
Should I be feeding them phyto? or not worry about it until I add coral (in about a week)? I'd really like to keep them around, esp since they share a tank with a hitch-hiking snail from my LS (Nassarius sp?, might be getting rid of it, keeps jamming the filter) and nothing else at the moment.
I'm willing to go get some phyto if the general consensus recommends it. However, given the size of the tank I'm pretty sure even a drop of DT's will be over feeding but opinions on this will also be welcomed.
Thanx in advance you're all terrific!

Should I be placing these lil' dusters anywhere specific? Right now they are dangling about 1/4" above the sand bed. Which now that i'm looking at them again they appear to be upside down. Should I flip the rock over so their bases are pointed/resting in/on the sand bed?

I wouldn't they look like tube's with feathers coming out of hte head right .... once you add in a shrimp or to they will take nutrients out of the water.... if you are really worried then take a very tiny piece of food and crumble it up - but even then it would be to make you feel better. If the fronds/feathers are out then the worm is eating (or attempting to) and if you have LR in the tank then the worm is eating ok....

Ok, well I'm not too worried about it then. Shortly I'll be adding corals and making REALLY small doses of phyto so they'll just have to wait.
Ona different note, what type of shrimp should I add? I was thinking a sexy shrimp then I was recommended not to because I won't have an anemone in the tank. Comments? Ideas?
Also, I'm looking to get a hermit of some sort (only 1) to help keep the rock clean. I've read on another post here that a scarlet would be a better choice than a blue leg. Given the size of tank. Opinions?

the smaller the better. Not sure on the shrimp - do a search or post a new thread which will draw attention to the specific shrimp needs of a shrimp in a 3/4 gal. nano .... I'm thinking peppermint .... but just because it is small ....
crab - mexican red leg or tiny scarlet .... maybe cerith snail ...

i think the sexy's would perch on the corals so you wouldnt need an anenome.. but that just my opinion. waterfaller has a few and i think hers perch on her corals.....

Thanx cimp I've heard the same thing. In fact, I've heard it quite a bit. Also, I don't usually hear of someone keeping it with an anemone...right/wrong/indefferent I dunno...but it's certainly something to take into consideration.
I've tried searching the issue on here, but unfortuneately I get every listing w/ shrimp/sexy and sexy shrimp. Most of the posts are people recommending them, or having a group in a bigger tank.
Back to the searching...
