Should I Be Worried

my lfs recently told me that the local sand i used contains high levels of zinc. I was wondering if this would have any affect on live rock and fish. if so would i have to change all my water and get new substrate or can i just treat it? thanks.

i can't say for sure what zinc would do in an aquarium, but i will post ot get this back up and maybe someone else can help
i can offer teh fact that i would not use local sand, for reasons like that though, b/c, you have no idea what you may be picking up along the lines of minerals an dother possible polutants(now, life is anohter story, but my big concerns are things like that)
