Should I connect my currently running display tank to my cycling fuge?

ok I was thinking about doing a 10 or 20 gallon sump under the fuge Will this higher my total capacity for fish?becuz that would be 49 extra gallons if i have a community tank will this mean i can hold the length of inches a 75 gallon could hold?

It could handle more bioload of a few extra small fishes, but I agree with DVS the big advantage of the sump/fuge is it brings a ton more stability to the fish al ready in your tank. Look at bang guys tank. It's not packed with a bunch of fish, but every fish he has is super healthy looking thanks to that mini ocean he calls a refugium that he has. Also adds a ton of "bug" diversity over time.
