after 9 months of breaking my tank in i am ready to start adding corals. i'm going to start with a couple zoos and maybe a mushroom. should i dip them before i put them in my tank? if i should dip then, do i dip them before or after i acclimate then? and what should i dip them in?

i dont know about a freshwater dip...but definitely look them over closely to make sure there are no little creatures attached....specifically the sundial snail, which will hide tightly in...or somewhere around there, and it pokes inside the zoo and sucks the inside out....here is the link to where it talks about it, scroll down a bit to get to the sundial snails..Sundial Snail i found one on the bottom of the rock my zoos came on....so at least inspect it

I wouldnt dip them just to bring them into your tank, it IS stressfull on them when you do that.
Like mentioned above just temperature acclimate them and drop 'em in! Good luck.
