I have a habit of changing approx 10% or 2.5 gallons of water once a week. My last water change was on wednesday. Now, i will be receiving my order of live stock and some mushroom's this wed from SWF.com . My water is fine. Only thing, my saleinity is a little lower than i would like it to be (1.021) right now.
No Ammonia, nitate's, or nitrite's. I'm adding kalk and liquid calcium.
Should I do a 10% water change on wed morning and then add the live stock in the afternoon? or should i just wait and do the water change over the weekend ?
Or should i probably change just 1 gallon of water just to increase the salenity of the tank?
I'm not runnig a sump/fuge. Just Lee's counter current protein skimmer.
