ok i just added about 1-2 inches of sand to my 29 and i want to add a couple mroe inches of live(i am low on money cannot afford ot go all live) my fish really were stressed from the move and i am not sure if i should go through with that again i dont want to lose them is it worth it to add the 2 inches of live sand?

It is totally dependant upon what you are desiring to accomplish...if you are looking for the benefits of a deep sand bed...then generally 4 inches is the minimum depth...for looks...then about 2 inches.
