Should I feed my shrimp?

My tank is 3 weeks old today so the only living things I have in there (besides live sand and live rock) are some snails and crabs and one peppermint shrimp. Should I be feeding them anything? I don't have any algae and I worry that the 14 pounds of live rock isn't enough to keep them fed -- what, if anything, should I give them?
Two of them are looking pretty sluggish (no pun intended) and I wonder if they are starving to death.

The snails should be fine, but I would feed the shrimp. Perhaps some Microcrabs cyclopeeze or some frozen brine shrimp.

Im not a big fan of frozen brine shrime, but yes you should feed the shrimp. My pepperment shrimp come out and eat every night when I feed. The crabs do too. Give em some mysis, or some frozen table shrimp.

just defrost some frozen table shrimp and toss it in the tank? Or do I cut it up into tiny, bite-size pieces?
