I've had my 36 gallon bow front tank now for 3 years. No problems other than constantly fighting nitrates. This tank came with a filter with the little skimmer inside of it (I don't know what it's called, or how many GPH's it does).
I'm wondering if I just need more filter power. I purchased a Fluval 250, to put below the tank (installing tonight), but I'm wondering if I should invest in a sump with a bigger skimmer...problem is the room under this tank is small, and narrow. I think it's only 11" deep. Maybe the new filter will do the trick...because I don't know if I could even fit a sump under there! :notsure:
