My red mushroom coral is doing so well, it is outgrowing the rock it came on. Can it continue to spread out into the sand, or should I move it up a bit onto the lowest tier of rock?
If you want it to continue to spread then Just move it next to some other rock that you'd want it to spread to. leaving it surrounded by sand will sometimes contain them but a baby may come loose and land somewhere else in your tank and call it home and a new colony is born.
Thanks! I would like for it to spread. I am going to move it up to the lower tier. I think I have a lot of colonization going on from setting them up to begin with. I hope my pipe coral spreads.
