well, frist off, i think i would get more replys here than the invert section since most people consider anemones as corals rather than inverts.
well anyway, my LFS has some bubble tip anemones that are like 30 bucks for a sorta green one. thats the problem, its not dyed, but a little bit bleached. should i go for it? or should i only go for it if it has a sticky base?
need some advice on this. and if i do go and check em out tomorrow, how should i know if it will live if it still has some color to it? like, if its not completly bleached out.
BTW, i have a reef optix 2 reflecter, 400 watt MH, 12k. tank has been setup for apprx. 5-6 months. i have about 2-3 years of experience with SW.
thanks in advance.
best regards,
Max

Not 100% sure what this means. If the anemone has lost it's color, that's usually due to stress. That also translates to not being in it's best health.
as far as the "sticky base" do you mean that it is just floating around in the tank? if so again, the anemone is not doing well.
I would probably stay away from this purchase.
Unless you really, really want it and it is a great price then I would try and put it on hold at the lfs and wait a few days to observe it. (that is if they allow this)
