should I worry?

I placed my QT on the floor next to my DT and I recently noticed that there is salt creep starting to accumilate on the side of the DT's stand. should I worry about this?

I don't think so just keep up on cleaning it...

Could it be spray from the QT? Maybe sut down the pumps in the QT if there is nothing in it and see it you still get the creep.

im positive that the salt is from the QT. im just wondering if it will cause any damage to the stand

It will over time...

I moved the tank so that it is perpendicular to the DT but it is up against the wall. there is maybe 2ft between them now. so ill see how that goes

I would be more worried about the carpet and the wall then the stand.
