should it touch the glass ?

Hi folks,
I was just planning of rearranging my tank and is it okay that the live rocks touch the glass of my tank at the back and sides ?

on the back for sure.. no problem.. on the sides.. no BIG deal.. but someday you might want to look at your tank from the sides and it would be a shame to have scratches.. but if your not worried about moving it then dont hesitate to lean it agains the sides..

mine is out on the bottom, but is piled leaning back against the glass, so that the bottom is open, for swim room cleaners ot get in and to place power heads to flow through, no garbage building up in the back of my tank

Mine is the same way fshhub. I've got two powerheads at the back of the tank and at the bottom. They are on opposite ends of the tank, and point at each other. This creates great flow through the rock wall. It kind of swirls up the back of the lr wall and comes through the gaps between the rocks.

I place mine against the back of the glass also although some say it is not a good idea as it might make that part of the tank impossible to clean.
