beth Administrator Staff member Mar 2, 2005 #2 Its not a bad idea so you can get any pests off of it before introducing it to the tank, such as aipasta. If the rock shared tank or filters with fish, then it is doubly a good idea, however, if the rock was not exposed to fish, it can right in.
