do they need lots of pods? if so how do i work up my pod population in a fowlr tank. do i just let it go? Nice pics by the way.

yes,lots and lots of pods.you should have AT LEAST 100 lbs lr. some good ls and lr will start you off.

mine actually eat pellets, brine, mysis, scallops. mixture of them all. They love the brine and the pellets now. But enjoy eating the mysis to. I'm not sure if I have any pods. I just found out that they are dragonets and not blenny's.

i also have a scooter dragonette. i have no where near 100 # of LR but i got lucky and mine eats brine shrimp. that's it. no flake,pellets or any thing else as of yet just brine shrimp.

It is true that Dragonets need lots of Pods to eat. But "sometimes" you can get them to eat frozen things like brine, mysis. Brine does not have any nutrtion. You should really try mysis or krill if you don't have enough pod population. I've been using a clip with mysis in it and leaving it on the bottom of the tank for awhile to make sure they are able to eat some. Granted I'm SAHM so I can keep an eye on them and not leave the food in there all day.
