would make a great snack for the CBS
Some have no difficulty with mixing CBS with other shrimp. My thoughts are no way. CBS are bullies. Even with plenty of rockwork I just dont trust them not to kill the other shrimp unless the tank is double your size at min..
Most all other shrimp can be mixed without issue. I just dont trust CBS

i agree

i wouldn`t own one myself...
sawduster, IMO unless you really like the CBS i`d see if maybe you could trade it in on blood shrimp

Dont get me wrong. They are great shrimp but such compatibility problems and some are just so mean spirited.
Almost ALL other common shrimp can coexist great, but the dang CBS can make some expensive snacks out of the rest of the tankmates.
Besides they often hide. I would suggest a Skunkback Cleaner and a Blood, with a Pair of Peppermints. Plenty of action and personality without any worry about agression among them.

I agree with RFB on the coral banded. I had one that I had to eradicate. Skunk Cleaners make great tank additions.

I'll agree as well, CBS are bullies and are a real problem, esp. when they get larger. I'd take that recommendation and trade the CBS for a skunk cleaner and then buy the blood shrimp. I have a cleaner who hosts my frogspawn (effectively) and right next to him in a cave is my blood shrimp; no problems at all. Except for the fact that the freakin' $40 blood shrimp HIDES ALL DAY! Stupid shrimp.

I had a coral, he would bully all my other shrimp, but they were to fast for him and would move out of his way, but why impose this stress on the other shrimp.

As stated above there are risks. I happen to love my CBS. He's huge and mean as hell. It's so fun to watch him stalk other fish and shrimp, but he's so slow and awkward that he can never get them.
I know it's a risk but i try to have my tank as close to nature as possible and hunting or being hunted is a part of life in the ocean.
