I currently have 2 peppermint shrimps in my 200 gallon reef tank, is it compatible to add a coral banded shrimp with them in the tank?

Coral Banded Shrimp can be aggressive but you have a larger tank so it may be ok. I have never opted for a CBS due to alot of remarks about them going after certain inverts but I would advise that you visit the FAQ section and read up on them to be sure.

In a 200 I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have a CBS in my 50 with two cleaner shrimp with no problems. CBS gets a bad rap because it looks so menacing but for the most part they are not a problem. Of course there are exceptions to every rule but that goes for everything you will ever put in your tank.

CBS are relatively reef safe, but as they get larger they are know to attack and eat smaller fish and inverts. HTH

I have 1 CBS in my 55 with 4 peppermints. I have no problems with them. My CBS is a large guy and I have not had problems with him and my inverts...just my experience.
