shrinking tenticles

Just got an anenmone - 2nd day the tenticles have shrunk to almost nothing. Help :

I swear, I saw this and thought it said "shrinking testicles"!! I was like..."Why the heck is this thread in the Reef Tank section?!?!?"

Help us help you. Give size of tank, age of system, lighting etc. We cannot read minds. :thinking:

20 gal tank - just switch over to reef - 17 lbs of LR in there 1 week. I also put a flame scallop and it is doing fine.

Anemones need strong lighting (you did not post yours) and a seasoned tank of a year or so. Water quality has to be perfect (can you post your paremeters?) Also what type of filtration and type of anemone.

and also are the tenticules shrieking or is the anenome closing up?
