the oddest thing happened.
all the shrooms in my tank were dominating.
1 day, all of the shriveled up.. they have been like this for over a week now.
not just on 1 rock.. all across the tank.
all of my other corals are doing just fine.
last test i did was thursday.

trite=0
trate= 10
temp 80
i dont remember my sg... i am going to retest tonite.
i know i was having a bad battle with cyano... i upped the flow, and physically removed what i could.

Chemical warfare is my bet. Do you have any LPS or SPS in the tank? It happens in mine every couple of months and I have frogspawn, candy canes, and montis in addition to the zoas and mushrooms. My rics don't act that way, just the standard mushrooms.

i have a hammer and kenya not too far away... but far enough that sweepers wouldnt reach.
other than that, i have zoos, xenia,etc.

Well, the chemicals end up in the water, not just from the stinging tentacles. So, that might be it.
