shroom question

i know the condition of my tank, but not theirs.
What were the precise conditions that the LFS had them in? blooms and the shroom actually stands up. in my tank, their just bloom, but flat against the lr.
Flow? mine is in medium flow area. also had it in high flow
Lights? my lighting seems to be brighter. i have dual 250mh and dual 140vho's.
Position of the shroom? bottom center of the tank. same like how i have them now.
How big was the tank? both tank 125g

My understanding is that if they extend upwards with the stalk extended they are searching for light. Not the best of situations...but I have often seen 'shrooms extend in that manner. The assorted types I keep are always flat on the structure...and most have adjusted well enough that they have multiplied. Mine seem to prefer a mild or moderate current and the lighting differs from color to color of shroom.I'd also think that they could take some time to adjust in your system...be patient with them and normally they adapt real well.:thinking:
