Oceana, the pic looks great. I'm sorry to invade your thread, but I remember you saying that you are a speaker eficianado. I am looking to get a nice setup for my living room, a couple speakers and a sub for around $750-1000, any suggestions? Thanks.

look into
Canton Karat line of speaker. very nice stuff
martin logan- great stuff but a bit over priced
axiom- great stuff at a even better price.
sonance cinema ultra line- great sound if you have a bigger room.
Definitive Technology
for some more common stuff look into
polk- only there higher end stuff.- good sound. easy to find. good price.
infinity- only high end line. full sound but a bit rich if your room is small.
Klipsch - they make some good stuff. fair price
All of these brands have somthing int he price your looking for
even more important then your speakers is your received and pre amps. spend your cash on a high end unit and then build your speakers around that
my personal system is made up of mostly krell products.
