shrooms

tell me about shrooms.....what light they like to be in etc......sepecially green striped...........if ya got links put em on here i d love to see them....thanks

Shrooms are one of the few corals that can do well under NO (normal output) lighting. Two 50/50s or one trichromatic and one actinic will do it for shrooms. Unfortunately, I will have to use 4x96 PC, which costs 530 big bucks, because I will have anemones, LPS, and later SPS and a clam. Fortunately, my parents have agreed to get me the 4x96 for christmas. I may have to pay 100 bucks of it. My advice to you is to consider a PC or VHO or MH system or a combination thereof. You will probably want to keep a whole lot more than shrooms later. The shrooms would be happier with more light too.

I have some green stipped under 2 110 watt vho i started with about 12 in about 4 months i have 27. So they do pretty good under vho but not all shrooms like nor thrive under bright light.
