Shrooms ?

Hi all, Have a 55 gal w/ 4x65 pc my shrooms look great to me however my son tells me that they lack lighting and this is why they are so large? Some are in the 3-4" diameter others are smaller whats your take? As I am fairly new to this all help appreciated. THANKS

That's plenty of lighting for shrooms. Some of them tend to get larger than others, but are they looking "inflated" or just larger than the others?

They all look the same to me. Inflated? seem to be normal

Sometimes they'll fill up with water. Sometimes they do that to try and move. They'll fill up and un-attach themselves and let the current move them.

Some of my shrooms are trying to hide from the 260w PCs. They don't require much in the lighting category. A few of my watermelons and one of my purples are 6" across.
A big shroom is a happy shroom.

I think they get larger to take up more surface area and get more light for food. If they are healthy and they should be with your lighting, then frag 'em!
