sick angel

I know ive already asked for advice about this but i have another question. My passer angel has ick. Its not not a really severe case, so so far i havent done much about. Every other morning it seems like, when i turn on the lights he is dotted with the white ick spots. Then after a few hours they go away. Is this a sign they are going away or something? He is still eating really well so here is my question. what would happen if i left eveything alone, and let the fish's immune system deal with the ick? Is ick life threatening if the fish still eats and acts normal? Would it be less stressful to leave the tank as it is and not change anything, or lower the salinity to 1.009?

You really need to treat this. It is not going to go away.
Do you have a strickly FO tank? If so, you can safely perform hyposalinity. See the FAQ section which outlines the procedure.

thanks for the advice. Ive decided to do hypo. I just did a water change and sg is at 1.019 and i will continue doing them till its 1.009. Once the ick is gone how long do i keep it at 1.009, 3 weeks right? Thanks for being patient with me
