Hey I got a gold striped maroon clown about 1-2 weeks ago and he has been doing fine except he has developed these spots on his back fin that are transparent almost. They appear on both side of his fin thats why I say transparent almost. Can anyone help me. Are they maybe spots worn down? I have a Condi anemone and a flame angle. Thanks

What about those white dots? What is that? Likely just change of color on clownfish on the other spots.
How is he doing with eating, breathing, swiming, etc?

the white dots are just crap on my glass its just the two on the back fin. He is doing fine other than that. No arratic swimming, normal feeding and everything.

What are you feeding the fish and how often? Is he a young fish?

Brine shrimp do not have great nutritional value (unless you grow your own in solutions that are saturated in nutrients). They are more of a candy food to get your fish to eat.
Your spots may actually be from malnutrition. Your fish looks large enough for a more varied diet. Formula One (particularly the frozen type) would be a very good food for a young clown as this formulation was actually developed by breeders to rear clownfish.
