sick clowns.... can you tell what this is?

I know this pic looks a little blurred, but my clowns have this pus kind of forming on the top behind thier eyes

they have been in the tank for a month or so.....
all has been fine until now.
i did just upgrade my lights to a 496w MH unit from a 80w florecent setup.
any idea?
i dont think its ich or hlle

it looks like early stages of brooklynella to me but it's hard to tell.
are the white patches raised bumps or do they seem like they're flaking off of the fish?

It could be "sunburn" from the ultraviolet radiation of the halides if you have them improperly shielded.

that is what it looks like to me too.
