Sick Fish

I posted a couple of weeks ago that my Copper Band Butterfly had what appeared to be black Ick ..Since then It has all gone away and my other fish show No signs of it either and all are doing fine,have good color ...My question is how long should I wait to add another fish ...Thanks

Are you sure that it was black ich before? It does not go away unless it is treated. How long has it been since you saw any spots on the fish?

Its been 2 weeks and no more(Black) spots seen ,Butterfly has great color and alway looking for something to eat ,,,Also no longer goes and hide when I am around the tank...Note when he had the spots on his fins I did see him hanging out with the cleaner shrimp a lot..The place I bought him from said not to worry that it would go away in @ week or so ..and in about a week and 1/2 all was good ...Any comments... One more thing is Black ick worst than the White ick?
