Sick Panther Grouper

Sick for over six weeks, ie eats very little, color change, little swimming mostly bent over laying on bottom,
PH good; no nitrates, nitrites, ammonia; water change 2 weeks ago;
tank has some live rock, ie about 100lbs; tank is 100 gal; only 2 other fish, lion fish and porc puffer; trouble started when lion showed up; lion and puffer eat me out of house and home and show no signs of illness; hermit crabs only other life in tank
tank has built in overflow with 30 gal sump with nautilus
help! I love my grouper, have had him for over 7 months he is dying and I don't know what to do!!!

What are the chances the Lionfish stung him?

possible, i had thought of that but do not know, he is worse, i don't know if he will live through the night

Is he getting enough to eat? I'd QT him and see what happens.

all too late "groupie" died as I expected; he was eating until very recently; I presume he may have been stung by Leo since all else in the tank is fine...I have frozen him in a bag of water so that my son and I can bury him; I am on my way to a friend 3 hours away to say goodbye as he is dying of a brain tumor; what a horrible day...thanks for your replys
