sick tang

can some one tell me what is wrong with my yellow tang and what to do?
Its eyes are glazed over and it has white specks on its body one that is now turning brown.
This just started yesterday.
Please help this is my first sick fish.

how big is you tank/tang? those white spots are probualy ick! what other fish do you have? isolat the tang asap! the browness is probualy caused he stressed..... one way to get rid of ick would to get a cleaner shrimp or use chemicials but i dont know if i would trust those chemicals. write back!

hyposalinity...put that tang in a qt and lower the sg slowly..to about 1.009...try that before adding copper or other meds..

I agree with the hyposalinity treatment.
Also, the word tang should never appear in the nano forum. I hope you posted in the wrong forum. Tangs need at least 100gallons to be happy.
